GLASGOW 2010 LIVE piping. . . THE goals have been achieved

Invite us to act in Glasgow, at the 2009 editiont was surprising.

Been invited again in 2010 it´s a confirmation.

Can be no doubt that the sound of the SOLLER Xeremiers has proved satisfactory for these people truly expert in the world of bagpipes.

As satisfying as our participation this year has become a preferential basis. A performance at the Town Hall Square (George Sq.) In about 50 minutes at a time when most people was on the square, all the tent where we played was full of audience, who applauded enthusiastically after each of our pieces.

The next day we made our music sound in a more selective venue, at Todd´s . It was a concert in which we participate with musicians from different countries, such as Patrick Molard (Bretaña Fr.), Marco Foxo (Galicia) Canntaireachd (Irlanda), Armagh Pipers Club (Irlanda)

Apart from programed performances we also had the opportunity to make a short break to Edimbourgh. Taking advantage of Organització the FRINGE (Fringe Festival Performing Arts) we had a little performing at the Royal Mile. Again, the response from people was overwhelming a large group of spectators gathered to enjoy our music.

The last year we got a reception offered by the City of Glasgow, this year, despite being invited again, was not able to attend, we had a performance at the same time.

We attend a private party hosted by the Scottish singer Mick West, it was a new opportunity to show our music. These people, well aware of the musical world, was impressed by our tunes and expressed interest in a new edition of Piping Live, organize for us a new "party", but where many more guests attend the performances.

After four days of intense activity in Glasgow and Edimbourgh, became very pleased to have achieved our objectives:

1.Promoción in Majorcan culture and, more specifically, the music of the Xeremiers of SOLLER.
2. And most important, have enjoyed our music to convey this.
